What is the easiest way to get to the venue?

The best way to get to the venue is by hire car or taxi. Transport will be arranged on the Saturday evening to shuttle guests back to the nearby town of Auberterre-sur-Dronne and other nearby villages. We ask that you let us know where you will be staying if you wish to utilise this so we can arrange sufficient cover. There is a train from Bordeaux airport to Chalais depending on your flight times and Chalais train station is 20 minutes from the venue.

What is the dress code?

Friday - Garden Party, please bring a layer for the evening

Saturday - Formal attire (Black tie optional), ladies please bring a layer for the evening

Sunday - Casual, please bring swimming costumes if you’d like to swim

Are children invited?

Babes in arms are welcome on the wedding day. Otherwise we respectfully ask that you make alternative arrangements for older children as, with the exception of family the wedding day will be adults only. We would love for children to join us on the Sunday and if you have Grandparents making the trip with you to help with childcare they would also be very welcome on Sunday.

Do you have a wedding registry?

We really appreciate you joining us in France and you being there is more than enough. If you do wish to contribute we are collecting an art fund and will use the proceeds to purchase pieces to hang in our home. Please click here to access the Fund.

We will have a bus service running from midnight on the Wedding night, please ensure you have passed us your accommodation address to utilize this service.
